Vasco Mota

Vasco Mota works in the production biology department within Nofima’s aquaculture division. His research interest lies primarily in understanding and optimising the interaction between fish and production systems. He has PhD in aquaculture from Wageningen University and an MSc in aquaculture and fisheries from the University of Algarve.

Results of a new study by researchers at Nofima suggest that peracetic acid can safely be used as a water disinfectant in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) that contain salmon parr.
