Steven Victor
Director, The Nature Conservancy, Micronesia
A native of Palau, Steven received his MSc in biology from the University of Guam. He was a researcher at the Palau International Coral Reef Center from February 2002 – September 2009. In October 2009, Steven joined The Nature Conservancy as a Micronesia Conservation Planner. Since January 2016, he has served as the director for TNC's Micronesia programme, taking a leading role in community-based coastal fisheries management , development of alternative livelihoods such as aquaculture, introduction of fisheries stock assessment, tuna fisheries reform work and designing marine protected areas.
