Larisa Lewis

is a marine biologist passionate about seaweed, oysters, and low-trophic aquaculture. Specialising in reproductive biology, she has previously researched and cultivated Magallana gigas, Himanthalia elongata, Saccharina latissima, Alaria esculenta and Palmaria palmata. After years knee-deep in tanks and tide charts, she now tells aquaculture stories from the dry side – splitting her time between The Fish Site and FS Media.
