Carlo Lazado

Carlo Lazado obtained his PhD in aquatic biosciences from the University of Nordland in 2014. His first post-doctoral position was at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He did his second postdoc at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, as a Jacob Blaustein Fellow. Now he works in the fish health department of Nofima’s aquaculture division.

Results of a new study by researchers at Nofima suggest that peracetic acid can safely be used as a water disinfectant in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) that contain salmon parr.
