Map to monitor Norwegian algal bloom

Salmonids Harmful algal blooms +2 more

A map that allows fish farmers to monitor the impact of the algal bloom in Troms and Nordland has been launched by Manolin this week.

The Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries has estimated that 3.7 million fish in Nordland and 4 million fish in Troms have been killed in the recent algae bloom.

In response to the losses, Manolin has created an interactive map that tracks the progress of bloom. The status of individual production sites and updates from the Directorate of Fisheries can be viewed as well.

You can see the updated map here.
