IRELAND - A small fish farming business based in County Sligo has seen moderate success as a result of taking a highly green-focused approach to its operations.

Clonacool Arctic Charr have a state-of-the-art farming facility that follows strict environmental principles to produce Arctic charr, a fish found in Ireland's glacial lakes, according to teh environmental organisation EDIE.

"We believe in keeping Arctic charr as close to its natural environment as possible - that's why we add nothing to the process except food and oxygen," commented Bill Carty of Clonacool Arctic Charr at the Taste of Dublin festival, EDIE reports.

"Our fish are fed with natural spring water. No chemicals, antibiotics or colourings of any kind."
