Cermaq in Discussions with Chilean Company

GLOBAL - The Norwegian company Cermaq has confirmed that acquisition talks are being held with a Chilean fish farming company.

Cermaq confirmed that it is currently in discussions with the owners of the Chilean fish farming company Cultivos Marinos Chilo S.A. (CMCH) with regards to a potential acquisition of the company.

Cermaq stated that there are still substantial uncertainties with regards to a completion of the transaction.

Cultivos Marinos Chilo is a fish farming company with over 20 years of experience producing salmon in southern regions of Chile, selling to a range of markets including Japan, Europe and America.
