Breeding allowing fish to fight disease successfully

UK - New developments in technology is allowing the creation of disease-resistant fish, the UK premier aquaculture conference has been told.

Speaking on the first day of the conference, in Edinburgh, Dr John Ralph, from Scottish research company Landcatch, said there were 12 salmon breeding programmes in the world as companies vie to use the new DNA testing technologies.
