Permanent Secretary for Fisheries, Commander Naupoto said that the Government was in the process of drafting three legislations into the National Council that would establish the Fisheries Council, reports The Fiji Times.
"For example in the offshore legislation, it establishes a fisheries advisory council on offshore matters it will be the same for aquaculture and inshore," he said.
Council To Monitor Fisheries Sector
FIJI - The Department of Fisheries will soon establish an advisory Council to monitor the fisheries sector.
