Aquaculture industry urged to improve marketing

AUSTRALIA - The chairman of the South Australian Aquaculture Council, Bruce Zippel, says the state has improve its performance if wants a larger slice of the growing international seafood market. The Australasian Aquaculture Conference, which finished in Adelaide yesterday, was told that the world&#39;s appetite for seafood shows no signs of diminishing. The global demand for seafood is expected to increase by 38 million tonnes a year by 2020.
