Postgraduate Diploma/MSc.: Structure

Course Structure:

The award of Postgraduate Diploma requires 120 credits gained from taught modules over a two year period consisting of a series of compulsory core modules and a choice of optional modules matched to students' specific interests.

The award of MSc requires 180 credits including 120 credits gained from taught modules (as for the Postgraduate Diploma) and 60 credits for a research dissertation (BL5899 Sustainable Aquaculture Research Dissertation). Entry into MSc will require students to have completed the Postgraduate Diploma and to have achieved satisfactory grades according to University regulations.

Fees:

The course fees for session 2016-2017 will be as follows:

Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits) - GBP 13,580
M.Sc. (additional 60 credits) - GBP 6,790
Total for M.Sc. (180 credits) - GBP 20,370

Fees are reviewed annually.

This will need to be paid to the University of St Andrews before commencement of the course. Payment details will be provided once your application has been accepted.

Alternatively payment plans are possible to spread the cost of paying the fees during the course.
